Professional Development Conference for NQTs

Making a difference to learning: newly qualified teachers as agents of change

Friday 16th March 2018 9am to 4pm

Conference Overview

This conference has been arranged especially for NQTs to engage in a day of high quality professional development. We know from past experience how valuable NQTs find it to share their experiences and discover new insights into teaching mid-way through the first year of teaching.

Keynote speaker Rob Loe - a former PGCE trainee, now Executive Director of Relational Schools - will share research evidence that students who feel connected to school, and feel cared for by people at school are happier, healthier as well as achieving better academic outcomes.

You will select from a wide range of workshops and gain creative and critical ideas to contribute to ongoing development in your schools.
