The University of Cambridge Faculty of Education hosted the 2nd international biennial conference of the Metacognition Special Interest Group (SIG 16) of the European Association of Research in Learning and Instruction (EARLI). Symposia, papers and posters presenting research results or theoretical viewpoints on metacognition in children and adults were covered.
As well as a lively academic programme, the conference included social and sight-seeing opportunities in the historic city of Cambridge.
