Full time study (The MPhil)
The Master of Philosophy
The full time MPhil is undertaken over one year, from early October through to the end of July. With one exception all students attend three lectures per week, plus supervisions and tutorials. All students are allocated an individual supervisor to support them through their studies.
MPhil students are required to live in or close to Cambridge (within 10 miles of the city centre). All admissions for the MPhil degree are coordinated by the Board of Graduate Studies (the university's central office for graduate students).
