Bibliographic databases enable you to search for material, such as journal articles, on specific subjects. A full list of the University's education resources is available at eresources@cambridge.
The following resources are the main databases for education:
British Education Index
The British Education Index provides information on research, policy and practice in education and training in the UK. It indexes over 300 education and training journals, mostly published in the UK. For help in using this database, please click on BREI Search Guide.

Index to Theses
The Index to Theses is a comprehensive listing of theses with abstracts accepted for higher degrees by universities in Great Britain and Ireland since 1716.
Psycinfo
PsycINFO is an abstract database of psychological literature from the 1800s to the present. It contains bibliographic citations, abstracts, cited references, and descriptive information to help you find what you need across a wide variety of scholarly publications in the behavioral and social sciences.

Scopus
Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of research literature and quality web sources. It's designed to find the information scientists need. Quick, easy and comprehensive, Scopus provides superior support of the literature research process.
Web of Knowledge
The Web of Knowledge database provides access to the Web of Science Arts & Humanities Citation Index, WOK Web of Science Science Citation Index Expanded and WOK Web of Science Social Sciences Citation Index. They provide access to current and retrospective bibliographic information and cited references found in nearly 1,130 of the world's leading arts & humanities journals. They also cover individually selected, relevant items from approximately 7,000 of the world's leading science and social sciences journals.
ZETOC
Zetoc provides access to the British Library's Electronic Table of Contents of around 20,000 current journals and around 16,000 conference proceedings published per year. The database covers 1993 to date, and is updated on a daily basis. It includes an email alerting service, to enable you to keep up-to-date with relevant new articles and papers.
