Library stock
The curriculum subject areas of the Library, for example mathematics (510), are divided into the general teaching of the subject (510/7), primary level (510/72), followed by secondary level (510/73).
All types of material on a subject are brought together in one area but in different coloured sequences. White-labelled books are shelved first, followed by yellow and then green. Items labelled in yellow are indicated on the Library Catalogue by the term Educational Resource in the Location line above the classmark. Green-labelled items are usually magazines.
