Profile

I run the secondary postgraduate ITT course in Religious Studies. I am also involved in undergraduate work, supervising for the Women's Voices in Religion Tripos paper and for Judaism (part I) papers. I have also had a long standing connection with the philosophy of education course, for which I have taught and examined.

Academic Area/Links

Largely World religions, with some philosophy of education and psychology.

Research Topics

Previous articles include narrative and the development of values, work on shadow and spirit (CG Jung) and their relation to the spirituality debate in education. I am also co-editor with John Beck) of the postgraduate course reader 'key themes in Secondary education' for which I wrote a chapter on the role of the pastoral tutor.

Current Research Projects

Just embarking on project related to literacy and religious education.
