Profile
Prior to joining the Leadership for Learning team in July 2006 I was a primary school headteacher in England with thirteen years teaching experience and a passion for educational innovation and developing authentic participation strategies with pupils. I now lead children's and adults' research and development work for the HCD Student Partnership as well as wider work relating to participation in schools. I also coordinate and am developing Leadership for Learning: the Cambridge Network. I have published work in the fields of developing young researchers, student consultation, assessment in primary schools, innovative practitioner research and ethics and values in inclusive education. I am currently engaged in doctoral study in the area of developing three- to seven-year-old researchers as well as coordinating a national pupil participation project funded by the General Teaching Council for England.
