Profile

Paul Goalen worked as a teacher in comprehensive schools in Bristol, Sheffield and Chesterfield for fourteen years. In 1988 he moved to Cambridge to become Head of History at Homerton College which he left in 2001 after the successful absorption of the academic staff at Homerton into the new enlarged University Faculty of Education. Apart from his publications in history and education, he has also written three novels and several dozen songs since 2001, as yet unpublished.
