Profile
Will Griffiths taught Latin, Greek, Classical Civilisation and Maths in UK state maintained schools for 12 years before moving to the Faculty of Education to co-ordinate distance e-tutors on the Cambridge Online Latin Project (COLP). He went on to become Director of COLP and to run the subject specialist team involved in a major DfES e-learning initiative in Latin at KS3, introducing Latin into schools with no specialist teacher. Will then became Director of the Cambridge School Classics Project and is now responsible the Cambridge Latin Course, the Cambridge Latin Anthology and a number of smaller publications, in addition to running COLP. He is also Co-Director of the Iliad Project, researching and developing speaking and listening materials based on the Iliad and Odyssey for use within the primary school National Literacy Strategy.
Will is currently also Chair of the Latin Committee of the Joint Association of Classics Teachers.
