Profile
Jennifer Piggott started teaching mathematics in secondary comprehensive schools in 1972 and was a head of mathematics for eight years (from 1979 to 1987). In recent years Jennifer was a mathematics and ICT advisory teacher and an ICT coordinator (from 1994 to 1998). Prior to taking up her NRich post in 2001, she taught Primary and Secondary training teachers on post graduate and undergraduate courses at the University of Hertfordshire.
As director for NRICH my aim was to widen participation in mathematics through encouraging inquisitiveness, sharing passions and fostering enjoyment.
