Profile
I run the Drama in production courses for Prelim and Part 1 of the English and Drama with Education course, and lecture on Dramatic Literature at Prelim level, Shakespeare at Part 1 and Contemporary Drama at Part 2. I also supervise Shakespeare and Shakespeare in Performance for the English faculty and co-convene the Graduate Drama Seminar. Before entering academia I was a professional actress, working in theatre, film and television. I am currently Chair and a trustee of The British Shakespeare Association (BSA) for which I organise conferences and events.

I am currently working on Shakespeare productions and adaptations for young people and the teaching of Shakespearean verse speaking.
