PhD Opportunities
Applicants are welcome to make applications to study for a PhD, in areas related to their research interests (broadly literacy, numeracy, language and cognitive development). Students who already hold a Masters Degree in Neuroscience, Education or a related discipline may be able to begin their PhD research upon arrival in Cambridge. Students without a Masters degree are required to first follow the MPhil in Educational Research offered by the Faculty. Graduate level study in neuroscience and education is also possible as part of the MPhil in Psychology and Education offered by the Faculty. Some neuroscience teaching is offered by Dr Szucs as part of this more general Masters course. Prospective research students who follow this introductory Masters would then need to take the advanced research modules of the M. Phil. in Educational Research (two terms) during the first year of their PhD study.
