About Us

We are a mixed group of people with a common interest. Members of the PELS research group are for example experienced and junior staff members, Doctoral and Master students, psychologists, biologists and economists, researchers and users of research.

We aim to advance our understanding of learning and development through undertaking high quality research. We study children’s playful learning but also teachers’ professional learning. We participate in projects with a prime focus on research, but also conduct our research in educational reform initiatives.

We discuss our work-in-progress in small working groups. We present and discuss our findings in open research seminars. We foster collaborative writing of publications and grant proposals. We seek collaboration with practitioners and policy makers in all stages of research to increase the impact of our research on society.
