Publicity for Journals on the Faculty of Education’s Website
POLICY WP003
Policy Date: July 2006
The Web Team has considered the matter of providing publicity for journals associated with staff of the Faculty. Several colleagues edit journals and some have expressed a wish to use the Faculty’s website to promote these journals.
At present a page is dedicated to the Cambridge Journal of Education. Many of the editors of the Journal are members of the Faculty. It has been suggested that similar pages should be provided for all other journals edited by Faculty staff. This would have major implications for the size and purpose of the site, for servicing and up-dating pages and for ensuring editorial consistency. It is not therefore supported.
The following policy applies:
- The Cambridge Journal of Education, which is published by Taylor and Francis Ltd on behalf of the Faculty, will be provided with a dedicated page and associated links. The page will be updated regularly in consultation with the Executive Editor of the Journal.
- For members of staff who edit other journals, links can be made from their Staff Profile page.
