Kaleidoscope

Since 2004, Kaleidoscope, a conference in education for research students, has been taking place annually at the University of Cambridge. It was established by PhD students seeking to create a supportive forum for presenting research. Its scope has since expanded and Kaleidoscope now provides a broad platform for interaction between student researchers and staff. The one-day conference format has converged to having two invited plenary speakers, who are senior researchers, with the rest of the day being dedicated to talks by graduate students. Previous keynote speakers include: Prof. Diane Reay, Prof. Usha Goswami, Prof. Madeleine Arnot, Dr. Pamela Burnard, Prof. Neil Mercer, Prof. Donald Macintyre, Dr. David Whitebread, Michael Young.
