Profile
Ciara’s research to date has studied the development of language and literacy in children aged 4-9 years; examining the nature of predictors of these abilities, including auditory processing skills, neural maturation and classroom behaviours. As a member of PEDaL Strand B, she is currently working on a systematic literature review of measures of play in children aged 0-3 years, as well as developing observational coding schemes to measure parental and child playfulness.
