Profile
Tianyi completed her PhD in the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge, after the completion of her MPhil in Research in Second Language Education. She currently works as a research associate for ERI Jinan project and focuses on education reform and teacher agency. Prior to joining ERI group, she has researched and published on language learning motivation, motivational intervention and multilingualism.
Before her postgraduate study, Tianyi obtained her bachelor degree in English with particular focus on teaching Chinese as a foreign language at Sun Yat-sen University in China. She has also worked as a Chinese tutor for one year during her undergraduate study.
