Profile

My research focuses on addressing inequalities in educational outcomes for children and young people across the student life cycle, particularly those linked to socioeconomic background. I conduct evaluations utilising experimental and quasi-experimental research designs and synthesise research evidence through systematic reviews. I routinely analyse large-scale datasets to identify factors associated with gaps in attainment and progression, educational behaviour and decision-making, and I provide policy advice based on these findings.
