Profile

Joanna Haywood joined the Faculty of Education in 2016. Initially she worked alongside Elaine Wilson on the Chemistry PGCE course, and now leads this course as well as contributing to Science-wide PGCE sessions. She also supervises on the MEd course.

As well as this, Jo works as Director of Studies and supervisor for Chemistry and Science Admissions Tutor at Homerton College, Cambridge. She has recently taught in two local state secondary school across the 11-19 range.

Prior to her current roles, Jo has held roles as Head of Chemistry, Head of Science, and IB coordinator. She has worked on a number of other national and international science education projects.
