Profile
My scholarship challenges art and design education orthodoxies by utilising alternative theories to develop and trouble the art and design curriculum. I am particularly interested in art-based research and how the creative process can lead to new ways to generate knowledge. As a gallery represented and practicing artist, my interests also lie between the borders of the artist and the teacher, or the 'artist who teaches' and the complex thinking processes artists utilise when teaching.
