The Faculty provides high quality courses in every age-range and our courses were rated as outstanding in all areas by OFSTED in their last inspection. Our trainees are always in demand from headteachers and many of our ex-trainees go on to positions of school leadership very quickly. We consistently receive outstanding feedback from our trainees on course evaluations.
Our graduate degree courses were rated highly by students in last year’s national PTES survey, outperforming other Russell Group universities. 95% of students rated our teaching quality as ‘consistently good’. We aim to combine theory and research - and where appropriate integrate this with professional practice.
We run a variety of professional development courses, through our Faculty and by individual research.
Our accredited PPD Child and Adolescent Psychotherapeutic Counselling Training, is aimed at adults working with young people and children.
