Our graduate programme offers an exciting opportunity to join a lively and well-established scholarly community. We are one of the largest graduate bodies in the University of Cambridge with currently about 350 Masters students and 190 Doctoral students. The diversity of our student intake provides a vibrant and stimulating environment for study. International students come from approximately 30 different countries and many of our home students are educational professionals studying part-time. The majority of our students aim to undertake projects that improve educational experiences of children and young people at international, national, local and institutional levels.
Supporting you and your studies
Academic staff are world-class researchers and encourage students to work at the cutting edge of educational policy and practice. Teaching takes place in a range of formats: one-to-one supervisions, small group seminars, and lectures. There are regular graduate and staff seminars, including our active Faculty of Education Research Students Associaton (FERSA). We have excellent library and other study facilities, plus strong support from IT and administrative staff.
