LfL Supper Seminar: Adolescent Well-being and School Experiences: a problematic relationship? led by Professor John Gray
Thursday 27th November 5.00pm-7.00pm in room GS5, the New Faculty building, Faculty of Education.
The Nuffield Foundation currently has a major initiative on 'Adolescent Mental Health'. Teams from a number of British universities are involved. Professor John Gray is leading a research team in the Cambridge Faculty of Education charged with looking at the world-wide evidence on links between adolescent well-being and 10-14 year olds' school experiences. How can schools make a difference in this area? What matters? And what does a 'supportive school' look like?
All are welcome to attend. Contact Katie, the LfL administrator for more information.

LfL Website goes live
We are pleased to announce that our new 'Leadership for Learning: the Cambridge Network' website is now live. Our new site www.leadershipforlearning.org.uk has been created out of a desire to learn from and communicate effectively with our network partners throughout the world. This site enables access to papers and resources associated with the work of the LfL Network, the Teacher Leadership journal and the HCD Student Partnership. It also offers network members the opportunity to upload and share news of their own events, publications and research through the site.
'Leadership for Learning: Making the Connections'
ISBN 0-9550456-3-0
a very accessible account of the Carpe Vitam LfL project. The project involved schools in Athens, Brisbane, Copenhagen, Innsbruck, London, Oslo, Seattle, and Trenton working with university research teams in eight countries to develop 'leadership for learning' practice. This publication provides a gateway into a process that schools around the world will want to engage with.
