Profile
Melise taught Mathematics in state schools in Brazil from 2006 to 2011
when she moved to Cambridge to pursue her PhD. Melise is currently
researching mathematics teachers’ knowledge of formative assessment.
This follows on from her MPhil, which examined Brazilian teachers’
practices of assessment. She is interested in understanding how
mathematics teachers make use of their assessment knowledge to make
decisions in their classrooms.
