Community capacity building towards effective leadership, educational success and social cohesion

TEACH-IN is a two-years project funded by the European Commission under the Marie Curie Actions of the 7th Framework Programme. The project is located at the Faculty of Education (University of Cambridge). It is lead by Dr. Gisela Redondo-Sama (Research Fellow) with support from Dr. David Frost (Senior Lecturer).

The main objective of the TEACH-IN project is to increase our understanding of teacher leadership and how it can be developed in secondary schools and communities in ways that support school improvement and social transformation. The analysis of teacher leadership, and strategies that involve families and the wider community are at the core of this initiative.
