Decolonising STEM and geography education in secondary schools in England and Scotland

About the project

This research explores decolonial and anti-racist approaches in STEM and geography education across England and Scotland.

Project focus

The study gathers views and experiences of secondary and post-16 STEM and geography teachers, as well as Initial Teacher Education (ITE) educators, in relation to subject-specific decolonial and anti-racist practice.

What participation involves

  1. Initial online interview
  2. Invitation to take part in a series of online knowledge and practice exchange workshops
  3. Optional in-person classroom observations for some participants
