Emotional and social care in Ramsey Abbey
Personal and Social Education - 2 lessons per week in years 10/11.
Careers Officer - available from the Careers Service on request.
Group tutors - deal with day to day personal issues during tutor group time.
Pastoral team leaders - support tutors in this work.
Heads of Year - co-ordinate work in the area of emotional and social care.
A Special Needs Co-ordinator + members of staff trained in one-to-one counselling - provide specialist support.
Outside agencies - Educational Welfare Officer, Student Support Unit, Educational Psychologist, School Nurse.
