What is the Helga Todd Award?
The Helga Todd Education Trust Award funds graduating PGCE students from Cambridge Faculty of Education in taking part in a teaching exchange programme in India during the summer break (late June to mid August), with an opportunity to take a short holiday after the teaching has ended. The Helga Todd Foundation's vision is to contribute to making education central in breaking cycles of poverty in India.
My experience in India completely changed my life. It was by far one of the most challenging 2 months of my life but at the same time, I have never felt so proud of myself or the students I taught.
