Ancient wisdom from mindfulness, meditation and yoga

Mindfulness and meditation practices can help you concentrate on the present moment, hold a non-judgemental attitude towards your thoughts and feelings, and regain your inner power. Here are two books for you to have a glimpse of what mindfulness and meditation look like:

Mindfulness: A practical guide to finding peace in a frantic world by Prof Mark Williams and Dr Danny Penman

Practical Mindfulness: A step-by-step guide by DK (Author), Psy.D Ken A. Verni

There are various forms of meditation, such as focussing on your breath and body scanning. You could have a taste of it via this video provided by Headspace:

There are many other different guided meditation practices and you can find the ones that suit you best!

Yoga practice can not only help with your physical health but also calm you down through poses within each inhale and exhale. To try it you can find practices in the following website:

Very importantly, if you do enjoy yoga then find the types that are suitable for you!
