Abstract

Applying Psychology in multiple learning contexts: the role of an Educational Psychologist

The aim of the session is to give an overview of the contribution an Educational Psychologist can make to the learning and well-being of children and young people. There will also be some information relevant to the training requirements needed in becoming an Educational Psychologist and some anatomised case study materials will be shared for illustrative purposes.

Profile

Frank Murphy, Senior Educational Psychologist, has worked for Cambridgeshire Educational Psychology Service since 1997, having previously worked in Essex. Frank has also taught Psychology in both Further and Higher Ed institutions.
