Our committment to equal opportunities

The Faculty is committed to equal opportunities for all and to the provision of support for students with a disability and aims to ensure that no present or prospective student receives less favourable treatment than another on grounds of any condition or status not directly affecting study or work.

Reasonable adjustments for accessibilty

So that we may make reasonable adjustments for you, please let us know before hand if you have been invited to attend an interview and have any special requirements. These things may include:

  • extra time for a written task
  • large print documentation
  • a different level of lighting
  • an accessible room

We want all interview candidates to have an equitable and enjoyable experience.

Further accessibility support

The University's Accessibility and Disability Resource Centre works with the Faculty to provide support to PGCE students throughout the course.
